Week 2 of the high school football season in Canton means not only another packed Friday night, but also a couple of Saturday games. Here’s a look at this week’s scores and schedule (as well as who we picked to win this weekend and our first power rankings of the season).
Highlights from Friday include:
Lake moving to 2-0 by routing Maple Heights;
Massillon getting its first win and doing it in convincing fashion at GlenOak;
Northwest using a fourth-quarter TD to beat Marlington;
McKinley dropping to 0-2 again after a loss at Austintown Fitch.
Return again later Saturday night for additional scores when Perry and Canton South each play games.
